National Scrapbooking Day Challenges Layouts

National Scrapbooking Day

Layouts I made for the Theme Park Fun Challenge at

I’m so very happy I was chosen as one of the winners!
As a prize I got some beautiful embellishments from Paper Wizard that will be perfect for some of my Disney trips layouts.
Some of the challenges are still open till the last week of May so I’m working on new pages everyday.
For this particular challenge I submitted nineteen pages.
This is the story of a trip that was supposed to be a blast and ended up being a disaster.
It was my middle son’s birthday.
We surprised him with a visit to the Harry Potter park at Universal Studios, here in Orlando, Florida.
It was a Sunday, the park was packed, and it rained, poured, all day long.
For me it was even more frustrating because I hadn’t read nor watched Harry Potter’s story so I had no idea what they were talking about nor what did all those places mean.
Anyways, with a positive attitude, we had fun.
It’s funny because I watched all the movies these past two weeks to have an idea of where to place each embellishment and element!
I must admit that I enjoyed them.
When the first book was released, many years ago, I couldn’t get past the moment when Harry gets on the train to Hogwarts but, of course, the movies are more attractive, at least for me.

I’m not going to post all of the layouts at once but in three different posts on the upcoming days.
Today I’m showing you the first six.
And the sixth one is the one that was chosen as a winner.

Here they are.

And the winner!

There’s still time for you to enter this month giveaway!
Thanks for looking.
Have a great weekend.

  1. Fun! Congratulations on your scrappy win! That’s always fun! Fun layouts, too. You’re so prolific! I’m a slow scrapper. The second one is my favorite! Great job!
