PINWHEELS CHRISTMAS WREATH
I came up with the idea of making this wreath after watching a “Decorating with Pinwheels” class.
This is a small one because I just wanted to see how it looked before making a big one.
I’m also thinking about making one in red, white and blue for the 4th of July.
Below you can see the “step by step” pics for how to make each pinwheel.
Step by step:
1- The green pinwheels are 3″x3″, and the red ones are 2″x2″.
You’ll also need scissors and a bead for each pinwheel.
2- Fold diagonally on one direction.
3- Then fold diagonally on the opposite direction.
3- Make cuts following the marks left by the folding but only cut about 2/3, stop at about 1/3 from the center.
4- Make a whole in the center, and one on every other corner.
5- Pass the brad through the hole in the center. The head of the brad has to be on the back of your square.
6- Now pass each corner’s hole through the brad and lock it.
Thanks for looking.
