TIP: Get embellishments from a kit cover

From kit cover to nice extra embellishments.

As you already know, I got an amazing Websters Pages kit as a prize for winning a challenge at Scrapbook.com.
Well, I love using absolutely everything that comes in the kit, and that includes the covers.
Those covers usually show a sample of each piece included. I found out those samples can be used as embellishments too.
They make great tags, “washi tape” like strips, etc.
This is an example of what I do with all the kits, and also paper stacks covers.
Here’s the original.

And here are all the pieces I got just by cutting them out.

34 elements that, otherwise, would have ended in the trash can.

I plan on covering the printed part on this piece with some washi tape, or a tag or banner to use it as a border on a birthday layout.

These strips can be used as tags, banners, or even washi tape like embellishments.

Finally these pieces make nice additions to any birthday project.

Soon I’ll show you the pages I’ll use them in.
